been living here 2 years and having a roof deck has not gotten old at all yet. I do not take this for granted. Likely woulda moved back to DC this summer if I didn’t have such an awesome apartment

Or if they didn’t build luxury ass cookie cutter townhouses across from me that block everyone else’s view of the water that is only 500 feet from my front door lol

Short walking distance to both is still pretty excellent though.

Shockingly this still isn’t the best location I’ve ever lived in haha. Me and Matt’s situation in Atlanta was truly insanely good. Less nice apartment, but that whole neighborhood has exactly the kind of juxtaposed nature/old charm and exactly the kind of bars / venues / trails and pathways I’d ideally have around me in a city neighborhood. East Atlanta is totally comparable to the things people love about Portland Oregon, except with WAY more ethnic diversity
