They did sorta inspire It Must Really Suck To Be Four Year Strong Right Now which is a point in their favor

 

I was super into Four Year Strong and obviously both of those bands were like...inseparable

 

Which, as a fair point, Four Year Strong is definitely number 2 on that bands I really loved to bands I think are mega corny delta lol

 

I don’t really know what that means but the only pop punk band I’ve listened to in the last 15+ years is hot mulligan

I don't get how a band puts out Enemy of the World, a genuinely 10/10 album for the scene, to the dreck they put out now lol

I like everything up to the most recent one. Brain Pain has some good ones

Brain Pain was like...a 2/10 for me. Really did not enjoy it. And then I heard the most recent one and wanted to self-inflict my own Brain Pain.

 

I didn’t come around on Brain Pain until a year or two ago tbh

 

I'd probably be more willing to but at this point between how much I hated the most recent album, and how much they cape for JJR I think I'm just gonna sit out FYS. They can just be a big part of my past, and I do still feel bad for almost getting Alan killed, though Dan almost killed me and three of my friends that evening so kinda a fair trade?

Oh sorry, I've def shared it before. I booked a show with them during a blizzard that was a total and complete cluster fuck.

Alan and his then fiancee got into a car accident

Dan parked his car on a hill and me and my friends had to push it uphill and it almost slid down and pinned us against the wall. His then fiancee hopped into it to hit the e-brake.

A Loss For Words drove onto our quad and just parked their van there

The staffer in charge of the event (I was running it but I was a student, so staff had to be in charge technically) didn't show up to work so I had no money to give them

I got to hear What The Hell is A Gigawatt before anyone else

An unhoused man tried to sell me and their manager a doctor pepper and was very very insistent. Ended up paying $10 for a soda I did not drink
