Dallas might be the worst major city I’ve ever visited. Just no charm whatsoever and so corporate. Theres only the one neighborhood (really seemed more just like a street) that was cool and had the good bbq spots

 

I haven't ever really spent time there, just gone for a concert or something and then came right back

the raw QB play is fine and reasonably expected, the serious football injuries are unfortunate but not overly concerning, but he’s so not fun to root for because the effort concerns, leadership concerns, and lack of physical toughness make it really hard to have any confidence that he’s gonna put in the work to put it all together in any timeline that works for this football team.

I’d imagine it’s a similar vibe to how @Dinkleberg felt with Wentz back when he still had prospect promise but there was something off about him because the only QB the Colts have had in my fandom with similar energy is Wentz

 

it would be very difficult for me to take a player's side in a similar scenario

everyone in the league is sore right now and you're essentially opting out when your team is THIS close to the postseason? 52 other guys plus an entire coaching staff completely let down

unless he takes a massive lead in 2025, it's pretty much over

my guess today is:

Bradley: 95% chance he’s canned
Ballard: 75%
Steichen: 25%
Richardson: 10%

main thing I’ve heard is that Irsay doesn’t have the cash flow to buy out both Ballard’s and Steichen’s multiple years left on their contracts, so they’d probably do a front office shakeup and give the coach a lame duck year before letting the GM pick their coach

 

We just put down a deposit for a puppy we’ll get in May. Hopefully it’s cute.

are they perfect, absolutely not, but they needed a home and they've made me and my wife's lives infinitely better
