I think it's fair to count the pre-season games if the conclusion you're drawing is "Bengals fans have left this stadium consistently deflated and unexcited about their team"

 

But preseason means so little. I literally pay it no mind.

 

hes using the pre-season games just to inflate the number to be more dramatic. 0-4 at home is bad but absolutely nobody goes to a preseason NFL game where you dont even know if youll see a starter play and leave the stadium 'utterly defeated' if the team loses. if you do, youre what i call a total sicko.

 

Exception for if you see a key starter get injured or some shit but that doesn't at all matter in regards to the win/loss result of a preseason game so point still 100% stands
