There's gonna be a biiiiig and probably annoying conversation about Lamar this offseason if they don't make a deep run in the playoffs

 

I think Lamar is awesome and transcendent and 1/1 but dude ya gotta win a big game some time

 

I feel about the ravens the same way I feel about the bills. win a Super Bowl or I just don't wanna hear about how good you are anymore. Put up or shut up time for both fellas.

I agree, and I clown on Rodgers a lot for very specifically this. The annoying part to me isn't going to be "Lamar, you ever gonna win" it's gonna be "crickets" on Josh Allen.

 

I don't necessarily disagree with you here, but Josh Allen is going to *probably* be saved from The Discourse because he's *almost certainly* going to win MVP

 

I still don’t understand why it’s such an *almost certainly* slam dunk for Allen. Lamar has him beat in every individual category, they’re both division winners, Lamar won head to head, and Allen has played a much softer schedule. If people point to losing to the raiders and browns, Lamar went for 600 combined yards and 3:1 TD/INT in those games. Defense and Tucker were the losers.

voter fatigue is the only thing I see in play that makes Allen the certainty.

 

A combination of things:

Voter Fatigue
The acquisition of a generational talent at RB
Separation stats of WRs
Allen being more fun to watch on TV this year

Not saying they're good reasons, but here we are.

Also people like complaining about great football players too much if they’re going to actually gripe about [Allen/Lamar/Burrow] not getting enough specifically timed QB Winz and pretend like they have an even ok argument

 

It could be! I dont really care one way or another i just think for a lot of the reasons (fair or not) dave mentioned, this is allen's year.

 

Is there a reason Aaron Rodgers is not considered in contention for MVP, this offseason I kept hearing he could do it
