Flores is a great coach - there were a lot of questions regarding the Vikings defense leading into this season and he has done a spectacular job

but it’s not like Darnold is putting up average numbers - he’s slinging it and making the correct decisions

It’ll be the most interesting offseason subplot for sure

 

Especially if Minnesota makes the Super Bowl

Like, I don't know why we have to take a very good and fun story, and just be the most annoying about it, but here we are.

 

Horrendous defense. Numbers wise Cousins was doing this exact same thing when healthy. And also if you're gonna bring up Cousins then, look at what he's doing now

 

Unless Darnold brings them to the NFC championship game or Super Bowl and isn’t the reason they lose OR McCarthy’s knee doesn’t recover the way it should, I still think turning the team to McCarthy is the right move. Whether it’s letting him walk or franchise/trade, who’s to say.

It is a system that had Kirk freakin’ Cousins lead them to 13 wins. It is a system that let Nick Mullens toss over 400 yards in. And now 7 year bust Darnold is flourishing.

I just have to think a top 10 drafted QB who is a good prospect and only 21 years old can ALSO develop and flourish too for 45 million less dollars. It’s a gamble i’d take.

Averaging it out for 17 games it's ~4,900 yards / 38 TDs / 10 INTS

also I think the Packers should give the Jets a first rounder for Sauce Gardner

1. the packers need CB help desperately

2. the packers are shitty at drafting in the first round so why even bother
