instead I can pretend I haven’t made a financing decision yet until we agree on a price and then be like “well actually I did get pre-approved and they’re offering me 9% for 60 months so if you want money from the financing as well you’ll have to do a lot better - I trust my bank even at a similar rate”

smart to go to your bank first. The dealership will run the deal through the big banks (chase, PNC, etc) plus the manufacturer (ford credit for example). If your credit isn’t great you could get denied by all of them.

In football news, I haven’t wanted to actually lose to the Titans in awhile. Travis Hunter solves two BIG problems on our roster at once (supporting WR / another great outside corner) and also saves us a lot of money at both spots. I hate tanking until about week 15 when you’re obviously one of the 5 worst teams, then it’s like “fuck it what’s the difference there’s no more pride in 5-12 than 3-14”
