Clarity/bleed American/futures/chase this light is honestly one of the best four album stretches of any “scene” band of the last thirty years. Two of them can be considered formative albums for the genre, and all four still hold up.

You’d be hard pressed to find other bands that can compare to that resume, even if the last 2-3 albums have been lukewarm. Death Cab comes to mind.

upon further reflection, paramore and fall out boy fit in here, but I would say they are more products/influenced by JEW than contemporaries.
