Definitely not feeling in the holiday spirit this year. Don’t know if it’s because work sucks or my trip in the beginning of the month threw me off. But just kind of feel blah.

I haven’t really listened to Kevin Devine but there’s so much music I haven’t heard out there that I need to hear, Kevin Devine probably isn’t making the cut

 

That’s my “classic favorite” but I also think Bubblegum is up there among his best

my favorite release by him is honestly his live album from St Pancras Church, it’s raw in just the right way to show everything that makes Kevin special, and it’s updated versions of a LOT of his best songs overall / lovely solo editions of band songs

 

i've just always found him completely bland. always tried to like the bad books stuff too and it never hit for me.

 

Funny cause I think Andy Hull is way more bland haha
