It’s debatable. They have found there to be benefits for pain relief in the short term but not enough evidence to know for long term. It’s a modality pretty much so if you want to try it, why not. But if they aren’t having you do much exercise/movement based therapy in addition, find someone else.

Went to the ER because my entire left arm and hand had that numb/fell asleep feeling plus a headache on the left side so thought I was having a stroke.

I wasn’t, but the doctor said the arm thing can come before having a migraine so that’s fun if that happens now.

I will not tell you my experiences with that and instead will say I’m glad you did not have a stroke and I hope it heals up quickly

So glad it was “just” a migraine. This is life now, I had a splitting headache like I’ve never had toward the top of my head. I was sure it was clot but after 4 hours in the ER I got some scans and I guess it was just a nerve. Patiently waiting now to see what insurance covered for all that!
