I asked both point blank if there was anything that gave them pause about moving me forward and yesterday's mentioned the different content as a potential sticking point if other candidates had the same experience otherwise.

today's said i was already a yes in her book and had no problem moving me forward (but it seemed like she doesnt get the sole decision).

For what it's worth (and coming from a different industry), I liked the people who sent thank you emails more, but it also didn't really factor into any of my decisions in the long run
