I saw Patrick Sump open for Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae once and he was hanging out after the show and I went up to him and told him that he's cool but I don't like Fall Out Boy and he was very nice about it and looking back I'm like "the audacity of past Dustin" and also I like some Fall Out Boy now so joke is on me

 

dustin do you have any other interesting stories about frontmen from bands of that era?

 

Well, I went up to him and told him they did great and he was also very nice about it because I'm not an asshole

 

Then Laura and I went to see Fall Out Boy in Fort Worth and Patrick Stump showed up multiple hours late and I'm just now realizing it's probably because he knew I'd be there and is getting me back

 

they formed as a band in 2003-2004 so it can't be 25 years

the first time i ever saw stralight run i met john at the merch table and i was wearing a TBS shirt and it wasnt intentional but i always felt like an asshole for it

ive had a couple of odd john nolan experiences. i stood right next to him in the pit at the brand new/dashboard show at MSG in liiiiike 2007 or 2008 and i was like i thought this dude and jesse were friends why isnt he backstage??? but then i remembered the whole thing.

yes lol i was a tbs super mega fan back then and i think i owned like 15-20 shirts of theirs, it was basically all i ever wore in public.
