i once pulled up next to LL on long island at a traffic light in college. His car was way nicer than mine.

Mark is the oldest person i know and my grandfather is like 91

 

It is funny to scoff at listening to LL Cool J in 2024 on this website where people are curious about new Saves The Day

 

I mean, I didn't randomly decide to listen to it. I saw it on some other lists and then people were talking about it in the members end of the year list thread earlier lol. I'm hardly the only one who likes it

just briefly looking at apple music there's like 12 albums from 2024 I have saved in my library and I definitely didn't even listen to every song on every album (looking at you Zach Bryan)

music just isn't as important to me anymore I guess

that said i think it's weird to be like here's 97 new albums and 46 new eps i listened to this year and here's how I rank them

even though I do that with movies

 

I've been ranking them as I go through the year but I'm also tired of it and I'm like "I'm not posting this" because yeah I just kinda don't want to

 

I do recognize that it's borderline psychopathic what I do with music, but I also don't really watch movies and spend pretty much all day everyday with some type of music on

 

I dunno if I've watched a movie this year

I probably have but I couldn't tell you off the top of my head

 

I will probably post mine at some point, but for years I've just kept a note in my phone and written it down in my journal and not shown anyone

 

I used to do end of year lists but stopped bc i dont think anyone cared and now the apple music replay basically does the work for me

I think “here’s some of my favorites” makes more sense than “here’s every thing I listened to, ranked”

I like doing it for myself (ranking that is not euphemism)

But I hate sharing a list somewhere and instead of having it inspire any kind of curiosity it's just "where is New Found Glory you dipshit"

If people actually talked about music it'd be cool/fun to do
