I will say this though I’ve moved like 8 times in my adult life, it always sucks but keep in mind not moving is a luxury that people who pay rent often don’t have lol

so while yes it’s much harder to move logistically as a homeowner, at least you’re not forced to do it whenever the landlord feels like raising the rent by $800 for the next lease lmao

And yeah hiring movers is kind of a scam they charge so much fucking god damn money. I got a $5k loan to hire movers when I moved from DC to Florida in 2015 and the loan still wasn’t enough
