I’m right in between, I like a nicer dive bar atmosphere (almost like a pub) that plays good music but not at a volume that disrupts conversation too much, and maybe the place can HAVE music and dancing on weekends but it’s not the focus of the entire building

fuck clubs but I like the place to have some entertainment / some reason other than the beer to go there

 

Damn forgot to wear my watch today, and my arm feels like a different person's arm.

 

Estoria 99 in Atlanta was perfect about dancing, theyd play good music to dance to on a weekend but it would be on a PA speaker in only one of the rooms, that music wasn’t blasting on all the speakers and it was still easy to find somewhere to chill and talk to whoever you came with if you didn’t feel like dancing

I think it's closed now but it was called Dollhouse, they'd do regular club stuff then every 30 minutes or so there'd be a burlesque type routine on stage. definitely not my scene

My cat’s lip was pretty swollen for a few hours but the vet can’t get him in until tomorrow. He’s gone down a bunch and I’m sure it’s from trying to eat a bug or something but now I’m gonna be worrying about that until 9:45 tomorrow morning.

 

The sad part is yes he can. His supporters decided a long time ago they don’t give a damn about his many self contradictions and hypocrisies. They’ll all just selectively act like he was never against Mail in voting and if you show them proof they’ll just counter with “well Kamala lied about THIS”

I posit to the thread regulars that going to concerts only feels this way because most of us still listen to the same music we listened to in high school lol

in other genres that aren’t as heavily marketed toward teenagers concerts can be a lot chiller lol

 

I don't think the makeup of the crowd changes being out in the sun for like 10 hours like David was lol

If you go to a country festival everyone's hats are bigger therefore creating more shade therefore helping you stay out of the sun better
