it’s a weekly show my man, they have 3-4 days to write and that 90 minutes includes 2 musical performances and weekend update!!

 

PDD always lands. Usually I skip the music unless I care about the artist. Most sketches are bad to fine. Once or twice a season they’ll have an all-timer though.

 

Man, agreeing with Grim again. But I think SNL is definitely better than it has been in the recent past. There’s always going to be some duds, but it’s doing some good stuff.

 

The U10 youth soccer team that I coach won the championship today. Kids were buzzin. It was great.
Only one parent melted down in a racist tirade, so not bad.

 

Scale of 1-10 how racist

 

Big white guy got into a smaller black guys face and yelled “boy sit down”.
So like a 4? Definitely could have been worse.

Jokes on the white guy though. The black kids son scored our first goal and played his butt off all game.

 

Put up my Christmas lights. Sadly my longest set is showing its age (my parents had them when I was a kid) and so the wiring is clearly iffy and a third of the lights no longer work. Not feeling like buying a new set (or two) to replace it this year.

 

That’s kinda charming

 

It was a good set. Super long and could change to blink, stay on, etc. would cost me $30ish at least to replace and I don’t feel like it.
