The thing this tells me is that Netflix cant predict a 2-3x surge in traffic (let alone the 10-20x one that happens when something goes viral), and an NFL game gets FAR more surges than any boxing match. Any smart boxing fan tunes in R1, and fades from there. NFL fans might not even tune in until the 3rd quarter

My favorite part of this is Im in middle of nowhere Iowa, yet I have gig service. I could download the entire fight in 30s right now. Yet at no moment could I stream the fight. It should be a *huge* red flag that I can VPN into AEW at any moment and it works and yet the ideal future model for WWE (which is a thing they did on their own a decade ago reliably), Netflix cant pull off.

 

Having done this once before has been a total game changer if I’m being honest. Beads and I are each averaging over 6 hours of sleep, which with Milo took us about 2 months to get to.

I watched the fights last night. The 3 leading up to the Tyson fight were all great, especially Barrios/Ramos and Taylor/Serrano. One of the much earlier fights I watched was also pretty good.

Tyson/Paul was embarrassing, but overall the night reignited my interest in the sport, so I guess that’s a win

The luckiest thing that ever happened in Milo’s life was me crying at the original Rugrats movie when I was a kid. I’m so on guard to make sure he doesn’t feel replaced that he’s currently living his BEST life lol
