I like most everything about Christmas, I just skip the religion and the music parts of it lol

I’d love to pretend to be above Black Friday, I’d never go shop at a mall or regular retail during the Black Friday rush… BUT I do always go to music gear stores that time of year (usually later in the BF weekend when the crowd isn’t hectic). Cannot pretend I haven’t gotten incredible insane deals on music gear that will last me forever on Black Friday

I’m probably gonna try to get a Black Friday deal on a still-new 2024 or 2023 model car and that’ll be my car purchase

I’m glad music gear stores and car dealerships tend to have the sales for a whole period of time and not just one night where people get trampled and shit

 

i went to a kohl's on black friday a few years ago and we spent more time in line to check out than shopping

not worth it at all

 

When I was like 20 we would go to Walmart at midnight on Black Friday to people watch.

Obviously now I just don’t have time for that. We did like 5 years ago get a good deal on a record player

 

I don't mind Christmas but I am dreading getting down all the Christmas decorations from the attic and then putting all the bins back up only to get them back down in a month.

It is always funny seeing people try to tell their cat to “stop eating the plant!” and the little crackhead just makes a crazy face and starts doing it faster before he/she gets shoo’d off the counter

 

Yeah this is a necessary evil haha, Christmas stuff storage. This is why restaurant servers who live in studio apartments alone just don’t lol

I am of the belief that you must start the process with some lower grade stuff like Jingle All The Way. You can’t just blow through Home Alone and Muppets Christmas Carol on night 1. Nowhere to go but down from there.

 

Yeah my wife is SUPER anxious and nervous on them eating any plant even the non poisonous ones so we just play it extra safe lol

We have 1 table in the dining room they don’t go to, but I’m SO nervous the new kitten is gonna figure it out. If so we are screwed

Now that I have a family its about starting our own family traditions. Currently it's having all the nieces and nephews over to run the Christmas train I set up, drink hot cocca and listen to Christmas music. Might even have a sleep over this year.
