Mark are you a real or fake Christmas tree kinda guy?

 

I think it's weird and dumb to have a real christmas tree in your house

i've got a ton of safety training to do today so yes i'm grumpy

 

Growing up it was always real and I figured that’s what I would do but my wife bought a fake one and I’m not sure I’ll ever go back at this point

 

We did a real one once growing up and it was a nightmare. Always fake now.

 

I don't hate upon a real tree, but my main gripe with it other than the mess is that it can really only be up for a few weeks before its essentially dying and looks awful. And we like to put up the tree early (as in probably this weekend) so that wouldn't work with a real one.

i am team real tree but i know eventually i will be team fake tree once i experience how much easier it is and ultimately in the long run less expensive.

havent bought a real tree in like 7 or 8 years because we just never had the room for one in our apartment and i sure as fuck dont now, but, in like 2016 a good sized tree was like $70 so idk what the fuck price they are now but i cant imagine its any cheaper.

 

I loved getting a real tree growing up, going to the lot and picking one out was always so exciting...but as I got older I started getting sick around every christmas and we eventually figured out that I definitely have at least a slight allergy to pine trees, so we went fake in my later teen years. Now my wife hates me for us having a fake one lol. So for our son we started going to buy a tiny real one to put out on our deck so that he gets the experience of going to pick out a tree.

 

Don’t care if you have a real or fake tree in your house

 

yeah my parents dont get their tree until like 2 weeks before christmas bc they just die out so quick so its like what really was the point of this lol

 

ive got a real tree in your moms house

 

They're fucking expensive now. My wife's family makes "tree day" a whole thing and I'd see the ones they get be well over $100 (thankfully their neighbor worked at the place so he gave it to them for like $20 lol)

 

Someone about to come in here and be like "we drive 3 hours to the mountains and cut down our own tree with the family axe passed down from generations"

 

If you put your tree up before Christmas you’re dead to me
