Feel like the Steelers are playing themselves into signing Russ for another 2-3 years which is not ideal

 

There's something odd-to-the-eye about the Steelers, a team historically good at turning late round WRs into studs, desperately trying to acquire top-line WR talent.

 

Well when you trade away Johnson and are left with Calvin Austin who hasn’t shown much, drafted a guy that can’t get on the field, and signed van Jefferson…you gotta make a move

 

I feel like the whole “The Steelers are so good at drafting WRs” narrative has been overblown. They’ve had plenty of guys that haven’t panned out. In the last ten draft classes, they’ve taken:
