Here's what you do. Find where the landlord lives, introduce rats into the ecosystem. He calls the exterminator - plot twist, IM the exterminator. I will kill the rats and leave the bodies and tell him "well, they're dying, right?" Justice achieved.

 

I just cannot get over the fact that the exterminator was like “Well, they’re dying right” as if that’s the ultimate goal
