So this sucks. It's crazy fucking windy here today and our barrels apparently blew into the street and a car hit one of them.

 

I have no interest in being here if someone can be loudly wrong about a topic (not about Charlotte but everything he said about Baltimore shows he has no idea about the other 50% of the discussion and thinks Balt is way smaller and more dependent on DC than it is), bulldoze my perspective on it, and then i am the only one banned when I respond back to the unwarranted condescending attitude

it wasn’t even about “Pat shouldn’t sell his house for this much” yes I’m aware that a wealthy industry coming to town drives up prices. I was speaking from the perspective of the, majority of Americans who are working class and whose salary increases don’t match those price hikes. It was perfectly valid for me to have the perspective that I do, that Charlotte doesn’t outclass other similar sized cities in terms of how much I’d enjoy living there so all things considered it’s too expensive for me. I wasn’t shitting on Pat’s big life event just remarking on how wild it is that those are normal midsize city prices now.
