Oh also I got not one but TWO five star reviews from Friday where customers raved about my service and mentioned me by name. Reviews are hard af to get customers to do, even if they loved you - they’re more likely to do it from a bad experience than a good one - but that puts the hotel GM on notice that I’m doing an awesome job in my new role

one of the reviews was a table I sold 3 half-bottles (the 375 mL splits) of wine to. One for each course. And they specifically mentioned my wine pairings as being excellent. Assistant sommelier in the house!!

I mean the house is big and nice but I just don’t understand at all this new trend of paying that much to not have your own separate lot, mf I want at LEAST 1/8 acre if I’m eventually spending house buying money

Quarter acre was still a lot, I’d say 1/8 acre is enough yard. If I had a quarter acre I could have a legit garden and grow my own veggies

@phaynes12 ‘s house would be like 2/3 that price in the Baltimore area, even as new construction with 2000 square feet. & Baltimore is a city of about equal prestige and size as Charlotte, ie a legit major city but a modest sized one of roughly 2-2.5 million people in the metro area

 

Not unreasonable to imagine getting a less new place with less sq foot but having its own yard at the same $375-$450k range here

it is priced modestly for the city and especially our neighborhood. it probably won’t make it to our open house this weekend and will go for more than listing. i agree with your general point but im also not going to set money on fire lol. you’re going to find the amount of cities you can live in to be pretty small if you looking for anything much lower than this with your requirements lol

 

Yeah that’s why I love Baltimore right now, one of the only reasonably priced major cities left in the country

 

baltimore itself is much smaller than charlotte. it only has the extra benefit of being in the general DMV area. come on man

not to mention charlotte is the fastest growing major city in the country year in and year out for like 8 years now. zillow itself has it rated the hottest real estate market in the country. like, i get you like your city, but you are talking out of your ass here

idk why you’re so obsessed with being wrong lol. charlotte’s “”””metro area”””” is more or less just the city limits of charlotte. that is not the case for baltimore. the cities themselves are not close in size.

 

City borders vary wildly and are a complete nonsequitur when you’re discussing how big that city’s economy and entertainment sector etc is
