we are thought it was extremely silly to do that

she even went all out and we were just like why

 

That would be the party I chose not to go to on principle. It’s literally not a birthday you were not born on that day

 

where did the half birthday concept even come from. i once brought up when my half bday was coming up and got hit with "don't be that guy" which i deserved even though i never really cared

 

I knew a kid growing up whose parents would do their birthday party during the summer since their actual birthday was near Christmas.

But it's still weird behavior.

 

I’m totally ok with people celebrating a very merry unbirthday, but not a half birthday

Beads used to celebrate her half birthday because her monster of a father made her real birthday a pretty triggering mess.

 

Laura’s mom’s birthday is the day her son died and also 9/11 (the two are unrelated) and she still celebrates it but by “celebrates” I mean “goes to Olive Garden”

Think I’m gonna buy a shop vac today. Washing machine has been leaking and we’ve got standing water in a drip pan underneath it. Yucky.

a couple shots from the get up kids / the anniversary last night. :)

 

I did Nothing yesterday except sleep extra and go to the grocery store and cook lol

Valentine’s Day weekend at work exhausted me. But now I have plenty of energy to do band work today.

Gotta work out all the lead guitars I’m playing for two songs. Want those songs DONE tomorrow in the studio, so I don’t want to just go in there with an idea of what I’m playing, I want to save an hour of studio time per song by knowing what’s being recorded note for note and what kind of tone / which guitar I wanna use ahead of time.

Also gotta do a final watch and note taking of all the video content from tour so I know which full song videos are going on YouTube and which clips I’m gonna trim for social media posts.
