I hate summer in Florida and Georgia but I love it up here

 

Tbh, March through December in Maryland is great weather. I’m not just being facetious or biased when I say Mid Atlantic weather rules. It’s legitimately between 40 and 80 degrees and sunny and breezy 80% of that time and if it goes above 90 in July or below 35 in December, it’s only for a couple days at a time

And January’s fine and tolerable as long as we get some snow and it’s not all just ugly precipitation like sleet and winter mix and freezing rain

February is the only month I hate, I’m tired of feeling cold and totally over it at this point, no longer do I have that “I’m gonna go tough it out and it’s gonna be fine and I’m still gonna have a good time” energy

 

For the record I wouldn't do either, I'm just saying of the two my preference is the colder one

 

but in comparison, I’d hate four straight months from late November through mid March in the upper northeast / Midwest / mountain west,

and I hated all of June thru mid September in Florida / Atlanta and still hated February in those places lol.

Atlanta actually gets about as cold as Maryland does cause of the elevation + distance from the ocean, like maybe not as many cold fronts and 20 degree days but it definitely has them. Jax may not get down there in temperature but it’s so humid that even 40 degrees feels shitty and seeps through your clothes

 

Summer stinks, but winter stinks more

 

If we all moved to Hawaii it would be a perfect 72 every day. Nice breeze and no humidity.

 

I hope you appreciate my work in there currently lol. We don’t have these conversations because spoiler culture sucks. Nobody will have actual discussions when they’re having to cover the whole post with black blocks.

We are at a hotel at an indoor pool letting all the young kids swim.

It is now 2 days in a row a kid has shit in the pool and they’ve had to close the pool both days lol

 

Yeah see this is the part of parenting where I really have respect for parents’ ability to deal with these situations lol

 

Like how do you stop a toddler from doing fucked up shit, sometimes you can’t and you just have to be ready for it

 

So we think we’ve identified the child and they’re like 6 lol
