NFL games live are great

expensive but very fun

 

I like all sports live, really

I might like live NFL games less if, like Sean or Dave, I had to drive way out to the country or the OTHER side of a major metro area to go to the game cause the stadium isn’t in the city , and deal with insane traffic and parking costs etc

but as long as I can take transit (or, in Baltimore, ride a bike/scooter) and avoid all that shit I have a great time

 

Saw a Panthers fan in the wild here in the Philly suburbs and it wasn’t Pat

 

nfl games are fun even if they are a bit harder to follow live but i feel like the weather aspect is definitely a factor for those of us up north. im not even entertaining going to a game past mid oct.

big fan of live mlb and nhl though. really want to go to an nba game

 

I hate this league so much. Groundhog Day every day but it’s sexual assault and violence against women

 

I thought you LIKED it when it’s 20-30 degrees out ;)

 

People be like “0 degrees is my fuck this point of cold” but is it ACTUALLY? Would you happily go do an outdoor event that doesn’t involve exercise in 5-10 degree weather and the cold doesn’t give you any pause whatsoever? Somehow I doubt that lol

 

80+ degree weather gives me the same pause tho. And being elevated in a stadium is different than going to the park or sitting outside

 

I can understand 5-10 degrees not being too cold to like, go run errands or something, but to actually be outside at least an hour and not even heating up your body with running or shoveling is a totally different story

that said ice fishers do that, so

 

That’s fair, it doesn’t for me. Like that’s the difference is I hate 95 degrees too but I can be out in it awhile and tolerate it and still wanna go to a great outdoor concert or something. If it’s below 20 I ain’t doing SHIT that requires me to be outside for more than like, walking to my car

 

(Unless I’m on tour in January and seeing Chicago and Cleveland for the first time. I did tolerate 10 degrees and windy those days lol)

 

I'd rather go to an outdoor concert in 10 degree weather than anything over 90

 

Yeah if it’s 10 degrees at a concert I would be like, unable to even focus on the music lol.

 

Both sound fucking miserable and I’m kinda happy to just…not? lol

0 degrees is my fuck it temp for like leaving my house. But no, I’m not going to a concert outdoors in 20 degree weather lol.

The same is true on the flip side though. I’m not really looking to do things outdoor if it’s like 85 or crazy humid. I like the indoors. I like air conditioning lol

 

i said i tolerate it. when im getting paid. aint spending my free time in that lol

 

I think my only exception in terms of being out and not exercising in that cold of weather, is that I would attend the winter X Games

I’d be more overdressed than 80% of the people there lol but for live professional snowboarding / skiing etc PLUS live bands that actually are often pretty decent, I’d do it

 

how is anyone gonna play a fretted instrument in 10 degrees. my hands get cold if my thermostat is below 64 sometimes
