Work just told me they're gonna potentially have me do onsite training for clients that are based in the general Atlanta area (including in the city itself)

Today has been very tiring and it's not even 2pm here.

Did get clarification with the head of HR that since I've been remote and live and would live somewhere that the company doesn't have an office, I am not impacted by the RTO mandate.

What that would mean if I got either of the two jobs I'm now about to interview for remains to be said is an unknown but a bridge that can be crossed later.

Was mostly stressed in the immediate because I needed an answer today before we head off for a four-day weekend as my deadline for "early renewal" at my current place is due by tomorrow.

yeah. they kept saying they'd have "playbooks" for how to handle remote/RTO next two weeks, but I'd be fucked financially by then, so i had to escalate the issue to the SVP before her day ended in like 10mins from now.

while they want people back in the office more, it's a slight twist. like if a sales person went out to meet a client, that's counted as a day in office. so it's a flexible thing, not to defend the shit too much.

 

How can they give him that when they're already giving him MVP
