I thought your rotation was your top 5 and found it odd that an album that came out like 2 weeks ago was one of them, but other than that, I have no problem with those tastes

they did an end of the year thing like spotify and, while i know there were only like ten people on the site lol, my review got used for the AOTY on the site and it made me laugh seeing it

 

My favorite one is the negative review that said something like "I wish I didn't see that tweet"

 

If you look at trending users, you're like 4th on the list

but the rest of us are also trending for "this week"

 

That made me laugh too.

I also love the "only album ever" "only band ever" reviews

 

I went back to it for the first time in a while and genuinely forgot how good it is. Holds up so well

 

Their last album was probably the biggest surprise of 2023 for me. Love that record and have gone on a couple discography runs since then. I hadn't listened to them in probably 10 years before that.

 

Where the Light Goes was so much better than I thought it'd be.

It's funny because it's like the album Blue Sky Noise but it's close to the app called Bluesky

 

i am filling with rage

 

the guy i do the newsletter with has reviewed a bunch of metal stuff there too and it seems like there are a few other users diving into metal stuff. there are also a lot of spanish/portuguese reviewers.

but yeah a lot of the rock stuff i’d imagine most of us listen to just have star ratings and i’m usually the only review lol

 

darkness on the edge of town is the best bruce record but the best bruce song is from the river

I love the "recommended" section when you open an artist page because it seems like every modern artist mildly adjacent to rock has Linkin Park as the #1 recommended artist
