Okay not AS bad but like, Nebraska/Kansas/Missouri/Iowa gets humid af. Minnesota I've heard too but I haven't been. But it gets to the high 90s/low 100s and then down into the negatives. Fuck that lol

The thing about south humidity is, yes, everywhere gets 96 degrees and humid during a heat wave

but the heat wave isn’t a heat wave in the south, it’s just the normal weather for 4-5 months

I think “the Midwest is just as humid as the south” is just people from the Midwest complaing about the like 3 or 4 days every 3 weeks in summer where it gets that hot cause they’re not as used to it so it really impacts them. Same as when it goes down to 35 in north Florida and people act and dress like they just trekked across Antarctica

At a certain point it just doesn't make any difference. It's like saying Minny is colder than Chicago. Cool beans but it's still too fucking cold

right lol there’s a difference between … a random hot weekend and 150 days of the year

also to get back to where it started, i’d much rather deal with extreme cold and blizzards than extreme heat and hurricanes

i get the irony of saying this while living in the carolinas
