YO! I correctly guessed two of the three white wines we tasted at our tasting session / sommelier training today.

One was a young (2023) New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, with grassy, floral and passionfruit flavors dominating a spectrum of ripe tropical flavors, and one was a developing (2019) Riesling given away by its sweet, mouth watering acidity and the faint smell of petrol underneath the herbs and green/yellow fruit

That was incredibly validating - I think I do have what it takes to do this as a career
