I’ve seen the Menzingers between 10-15 times and they’re consistently great every time I’ve been, crowd always super into it

Just played my bass again for the first time since it was set up with fresh intonation, action, neck angle and new strings. Damn she sounds so sassy.

I have no problem cancelling Morrissey but them Johnny Marr / Andy Rourke riffs be SLAPPIN and they fully distanced themselves from Morrissey and think he’s intolerable so I must confess I still spin them sometimes

PBTT were great live in the era prior to keep you. super energetic and tight sounding band. i’ve seen them twice since. i enjoy the records from keep you on more than the stuff before it but they are not an engaging live act anymore.

I appreciate that ilk and think it’s good music for easy listening but I don’t feel the same passion for it as I do for stuff that either commits to being weirder, catchier, or noisier and wilder. It’s safe, comfortable, punk rock for 30 somethings. The “millennial who grew up emo” version of Hootie & the Blowfish haha

 

If the Eagles wanted to really rub it in they'd sub in Big Dom for the victory formation
