i was pretty active and more than a bit naive about politics when he got elected the first time, especially living in SC where the fucking confederate flag was hanging from the state house. at a certain point though, me getting in trouble for bum rushing a security guard isn't going to help my daughter's life in the long run lol. any gratification you get from acting like that in the moment is going to be offset by them fucking you over for life. there is very little change anything like that in person is going to positively effect.

I would LOVE to unleash Randall on the politics thread, they absolutely deserve it IMO

 

There could also be tons of police inside of the actual building too. I don't think they're just using one old guy to guard it.

Not endorsing this idea, just saying I am kinda starting to believe it's something that could have legs to it:

A Randall Mentzos 2028 run could work. Brash famous outsider without the baggage of most liberal politicians. Not afraid of criticizing the Democratic establishment. Has tons of populist progressive cred while still being mainstream friendly. Still has some legitimacy and respect from working class swing voters especially because of his veteran and 9/11 first responder advocacy. If Dems want to win again by using the Trump playbook against them, Randall Mentzos is who you do it with.
