Also being sober-curious made it hard with some of my friends who only like to go and drink, a lot of those just kind of disappeared after we quit hanging out

 

I was saying the same thing honestly hahahaha. Roberts managed like a MANIAC last postseason and shut me the fuck up. Yeah the Dodgers loaded themselves with talent, but Roberts was the difference that won the WS.

When we watch it Laura says it reminds her of me because it is exactly how I act any time I make a joke about her whether she's there or not

 

I have social anxiety and sometimes try to find a way out of seeing people but more often than not I usually end up having a good time.

Once the nerves go away, Im very social

 

I've been making an effort to drink less anyway, but I've been especially dropping the habit when I'm socializing because I have a fear of becoming that friend who everyone assumes is going to have a beer in hand.

 

Not that I've got a giant list of friends after having two kids and life becoming a whole lot busier.

 

When are y'all visiting

 

I was never a big drinker but now that its easier for me to smoke, I have a beer or whiskey on certain social situations.

 

We talk about it somewhat regularly, but planning ahead is not our strong suit. I'll try and push the idea further haha

The weather might be my most cringiest small talk convo. I will walk away from the person if its get to that.

 

I've only ever been to Texas once, and it was Houston and all I remember about it is having some pretty great Mexican food.

As someone who was the guy who always had a beer in his hand, it's gotta be way easier to not become that guy than it was to be that guy and then stop being that guy lol. Explaining that you don't really drink anymore is very tiring

 

We really needed that rain last night.
