yeah basically what he’s saying is that none of the newer shoegaze bands take inspo from the bands that had laid paths you could/should follow (Ride, the first Verve LP, spiritualized). it's all MBV attempts, who are irreplicable, or bands that sound like Bush through a Jazz Chorus.
