I just generally think we do talk about football ad nauseum when there is a lot of news. If you scroll back 3 pages and see nothing NFL being discussed then there is nothing that important that happened *shrug*

during the season game day threads tend to be way more football focused and that takes up that role just fine. Maybe we make a habit of posting weekly news more in there and offseason news in the draft thread?

my primary worry is that the friend dynamic in here would change if we mandated that posting be separated and a new chat thread would not be the same

there are times (mostly during the season) where I'll just scroll through the bullshit to find the tweets/news posted to see if anything interesting about the Bengals happened bc I don't follow any news outlets for NFL

and there are other times where I'm like oh there are 10 new pages, I'm gonna read them all bc FOMO

other times where I Can Not Be Bothered to read those 10 pages lol

and other times where the football talk is so deep that I just sort of breeze through it bc I do not have that deep of a football mind tbh

I can literally never stick to my grocery list ever. It’s impossible. Frustrates the hell out of my partner lol. We both hate being in the grocery store for different reasons. She gets overstimulated and wants to gtfo immediately. Meanwhile I get decision paralysis and spend way too long trying to make sure we got everything we MIGHT need so we don’t have to come back

 

We just grocery shop separately more often now lol cause we don’t do it the same. Sometimes when I wanna stick to my list and not spend much we’ll go together and she’ll try to keep me on track and it’ll 80-90% work but I always get drawn like a moth to a flame to other things I forgot I needed lol
