completely agree. at first people will make a point to keep them separated but itll all end up mxing together again by the time the next season starts. it just seems silly.

is the solution to simply not be so snarky when people actually want to talk football? i can get on board with that.

I do think with a thread split it'd be the same community, maybe with like 1-2 extra posters from MLB or NBA thread but not many others. It'd likely still be all of us shitposting

I do think Sean's concern about this one still evolving (or devolving depending on who you are) into a second shitposting thread is valid and something to think about
