Like clockwork!

Feel like one person knowing where all of the traffic in the area would be good! It’d be different if he was controlling ground and air traffic, but what he was doing is pretty typical at every airport. Some airports will have one for each runway, but even then that is pretty rare.

ATC is definitely understaffed but the DCA arrival/approach/tower controllers are the best in the business. Their worst employee would be employee of the year at most other ATC facilities
