Been to both Philly and Nola and am not rushing to go back to either

While it’s not all of New Orleans, the obvious touristy areas and surrounding areas sometimes give vibes of “ok you’re here now get out” from the locals. Like, they know they make money by all the tourists but they also dislike the tourists and can spot them a mile away because it’s just a constant stream of them.

Been there a few times for work over the years and that’s the feel of it most of the time (of course not everyone and every place but any major touristy area has that feel imo that’s unique to places that “outsiders” only know for 1 or 2 things)

 

I’d rank both top 10 in the eastern US very easily

 

Per nba rules New Orleans is in the west

 

And football says it’s the south but definitely not east lol

 

I feel so opposite but maybe it’s cause I look like I’m from there lol. People have always been extremely friendly there, like beyond normal friendly

i feel more strongly about philly sucking than new orleans, which to be clear i don’t think sucks i just think randall overrates it bc an obvious bias he has.

nothing about philly is good outside of a few food items that while they originated are incredibly easy to replicate elsewhere

 

NBA is more likely to get rid of conferences than realign imo
