My brother is like...the exact opposite of me. Like, for my grandmother's funeral, me and Beads got to the airport 3 hours early, grabbed some lunch and some drinks, casually strolled to the gate and were good to go. Mark got to the Airport 20 minutes before boarding began and had to sprint to the gate.

He also had no plan whatsoever to get to the hotel from the airport when we got to Florida, nor any plan to get to the funeral the next day, which was an hour away from the airport. Just total nightmare fuel for me.

 

Looks like $85 for 5 years which is very cheap

 

I have been like your brother before but i (very recently) have finally grown up a bit from that lol

ive missed a couple flights and at least one bus in my life lmfao, embarrassing to admit I had to learn from that mistake more than once but hey. Some people learn the hard way lmao

 

@MidDave not having a plan to get to a funeral an hour away is crazy though, how do you not have a rental car reserved lmao

 

actually one of the flights I've missed in my life was because I went to the WRONG AIRPORT.... not sure that's any better than being late though LOL

I stupidly, even after double and triple checking my confirmation emails, never got the memo that the flight was outta BWI. I was living in College Park at the time and forgot where I booked and just stupidly assumed I booked out of DCA cause that was easiest for me at the time (no car, but I could take subway straight there). NOPE. Tickets were cheaper at BWI lol

 

was a real "wait... what the FUCK did I do" moment when I was looking for my flight on the infoboards and couldn't fuckin find it lol

The amount of time I spend fighting with the VPN at my new job is alarming.

 

Listening back to the video, as usual my performance wasn't as shaky as I thought it was, vocals and guitar were both solid. Couple times my voice sounded thinner than preferred on the high notes which made it sound like I'm straining and singing from my throat, but I think it was the sound system in there, didn't exactly have the nicest fullest sounding PA.

also as usual, I still wanna be even better haha. There was some parts I rushed a little bit and that LITTLE BIT of the tempo being too fast takes away my ability to be patient with my vocals / holding notes / taking breaths so I could've been even more ROBUST there. Just hard when you have stage adrenaline because you legitimately process stuff faster and perceive time slower so what feels "on tempo" is actually rushed and what is on tempo feels "too slow" at first. I wasn't as clean as I like to be on the guitar I was borrowing but I don't need to be too hard on myself about that I still got the vast majority of riffs / ideas across
