I almost said "you can't make that signing with your job on the line" but like...I genuinely have no idea what Daboll and Schoen are even gonna be looking for to try and save their jobs

i think Schoen's job is squarely on the line this coming season. If they go the route of drafting a QB i think Daboll gets a year of rookie QB and job is on the line in 2026 for *certain*, but if they go the route of bringing in a veteran and trading back or drafting other areas of need, theyre both almost certainly gone in 2026.

The giants play the NFC North and AFC West next season as well as their own division that suddenly looks dangerous again. The giants could be a decent team and still lose 13 games.

I do think the Giants really do feel like they’re in a position where those guys have to draft a rookie QB and hope he hits so they can keep their jobs. I don’t see veteran saving their jobs
