My parents are extremely republican and love Trump and it sucks
90% of it is because they’re rich and what tax breaks, but still. Drives me insane and trying to just have any rational conversation with them never goes well so I just try to avoid it at this point. Unfortunately my younger brother went down that path too with them

 

My parents were trump voters both times but have since come down from the wagon and i think are both just not voting this time around.

 

My mom and dad probably voted for Trump but they're not anymore because my mom is in a home and my dad is dead

 

what if trump loses texas by 2 votes

 

To be fair Trump could lose Texas popular vote by like a hundred thousand votes and the EC representatives would probably still just submit for him anyway

my dad (step-dad) is a classic npr liberal dad and has voted for democrats in every election i can think of but my father is a “””””democrat””””” because he’s a big union guy but in all other senses is a republican and hasn’t voted since Gore because he hates trump, mitt and mccain for being anti-union but also hates women and black people

My dad was a republican, and in fact a science teacher who didn't believe in global warming. It was very odd.

He has had a dramatic turnaround over the last 15 or so years. He's still a registered Republican but hasn't voted for one since George W. Bush

Meanwhile my mother has always been a democrat, much to the chagrin of all of her brothers and parents, but she's very much a Hillary-esque Clinton who also LOVED Mitt Romney and Charlie Baker.
