i like their newest a good amount, found sister cities to be mostly a stinker. NCTH was good and fine. greatest generation is their best. i dont listen to the other two much.

The Greatest Generation, while a good album, is kinda not what I look for from TWY. I still like it overall but it's just not my favorite, which I expected it to be after seeing so many people call it their #1.

My takes aren't that hot I suppose. I'm pretty easy in general, I have no problem listening through everything outside of Sister Cities. I just expected to like TGG more than I did so even though I liked it I walked away just kinda being let down. BUT it was also my first time hearing it so I have no idea how "time and place" it is

 

The hum goes on forever hits hard as a dad. My fav of theirs.

 

I also think dans voice is a lot cleaner on hum and I prefer it over the more grating vocals on the other records

 

Hum and Aaron West are absolutely where I like his voice the most

 

Guessing Doug Vosik replaces him, much younger

don’t care for the wonder years, the only album I enjoyed for like a week was sister cities.

 

it was an okay show in the 90's, probably not something I'd rewatch

Only time I ever saw TWY was when they opened for Yellowcard when they were touring Southern Air. They were cool. I need to deep dive their discography again.
