Not to go back to the international travel thing but Laura I think doesn't really want to travel outside of the continent due to health stuff so I'm also wondering if I do go out of the continent, where else should I go now that I will not be thinking of avoiding gluten along the way

Man I hate that $200 a night for lodging is not seen as all that bad anymore. 10 years ago I was mad if I was even at $100/night lol

 

where else would you be sleeping? castles only. you can sleep in a weird motel any time you want to here at home.

Olive Garden is the first place I learned something other than meat can go into ravioli. My Chef Boyardee loving ass was changed forever by ricotta

 

I am of the age and lifestyle now where if I'm going away somewhere, I'd rather spend $250/night than $50/night.

I'm so very out of the crappy motel with police scoping out the parking lot experience of my youth.

 

Don’t forget the $3k heating bill per month

I’m actually kinda joking, our cheap motel stay was the grossest place we stayed tbh everyone who let us crash on a couch or guest bed was awesome and kept a clean comfortable place lol

 

A $250/300 hotel room is luxury in most circumstances lol

 

Getting cheap hotel rooms and cramming 6-7 people into them was fun when i was 23 and my body could recover from odd sleeping positions/arrangements. Now, not so much.

 

So too is going away in fairness lol.

If I'm going through the hassle of finding someone to watch my kids and actually getting a break, or even more hassle, bringing them, you're damn right I'm getting a place worth it.

 

Oh trust that I revel in the idea that Terrain tours as a 2 or 3 piece and we’re not dealing with more than 3 bodies on tour lol
