I do genuinely think “Baltimore where I live can be just as cool and one of the neighborhoods even has a similar look / vibe” is still not even close to what was perceived. I did compare and contrast them but that’s not saying they’re the same thing & one replaces the other, i simply think other medium sized cities can sometimes be “just as cool” and that Amsterdam is a “pretty cool medium sized modern city” that gets overrated beyond that because of legal weed / SW which isn’t even that radical anymore. It’s not as much, “you stepped into a WHOLE OTHER world,” as other countries in Europe can be

this is going to be my last post on this and i’ll move on. i apologize for dragging it on so long. not to make excuses but to make excuses ive been sick a week, holly has been sick two weeks, ziggy is leaking blood out of her asshole. my fuse is short. i want to be clear though. this began because i jokingly responded about this being another in a string of one of randall’s wild takes. i didn’t attack him. i didn’t misconstrue what he said. i merely said wow that’s goofy. he dug in a bunch and then shifted what he said i pointed that out and then it became the goalpost shifting and gaslighting show. i am fine with walking away from this as i should have earlier and have in the past. but as much as i can understand randall not taking it well when it seems like he’s getting ganged up on (outside of the likes stuff that is still a stupid ass thing to post about lol), literally no one alive - randall included - likes to be gaslit and told something didn’t happen when it literally did and does time and time again because he - to his own admission - is bad at articulating himself in a concise way. but i’m in a mood bc of my own shit and shouldn’t have dug in to antagonize as much as i did. my bad.

 

Randall I am BEGGING you to phrase your initial posts like this. This is so much better at getting your point across without stating it like it's a fact.

Also, just because where you live has stuff that is similar to Amsterdam doesn't everyone does. It might be like a different world depending on where you live and it's okay for you NOT feel that just like it's okay for some us to disagree because Amsterdam might be radically different than where we're at.
