Update: they think Ziggy passed the blockage and won’t need surgery (yay!). But she still has bad diarrhea so they are keeping her for another night to keep her in fluids and continue to observe

Yeah that shit’s expensive. Maverick once had an episode like that but he literally never eats anything weird or chews up stuff that isn’t his toys and they wanted to charge $500 to do an X-ray. We declined and I think he ended up just having a stomach virus or something. He was fine after taking the anti-nausea medicine they gave us and a chicken and white rice diet for a few days.

 

yeah i was worried there was a full blockage bc they said after the first X-ray that there was a lot of gas shadowing in her intestines but it cleared up overnight and the ultrasound was clear this morning and she hasn't puked in 12 hours so it seems like it's making its way out. she just be a REAL shitter.
