Think my biggest complaint about Apple Music UI, and I know it’s tiny, is the placement of where the shuffle and repeat presses are. Why are they hidden behind the queue? Just feels trying to be different for the sake of.

 

having to make several extra clicks adds up

 

It definitely used to be different, I agree though

 

I am different I do not hit the shuffle or repeat button. I just hit the back to repeat a song so good.

 

I simply hit shuffle to start the playlist

 

I do shuffle sometimes. Never repeat. Just "add to queue"

 

I typically keep a playlist on shuffle of whatever is the current things that I’m wanting, and then if a song comes on and I want to continue that album, I’ll take it off shuffle. I’ll queue up albums as the mood dictates, but my baseline is a shuffled playlist.

 

Yes but what about when you want to listen to that song all day? Do you just keep hitting back?

After I find myself repeating a song two or three times, I know that I just need to wear it out for the moment.

 

My primary method of music listening is records

I usually listen a few times and then change because I can’t listen to one song all dayv

Feel for the people that are losing their main source of income but also you gotta have a contingency plan if you’re choosing m to do so with a company/app not based in the US in the current political climate.

 

I don’t have or use tik tock but I work with a lot of young climate activists who got a lot of engagement through it and did some great education and secured large crowds at public meetings. To me it seems like a big loss but I also don’t think China are the bad guys of the world

Tik Tok was great for what I used it for. Such an amazing app for book communities. So many books I’ve read the last 3 years came from people on there.

It was very good for political awareness especially with Ukraine, but most recently in Gaza.

Most people over 30 think it’s viral dances and nonsense but it was a good app for what I used it for.
