how does this work? I've never looked into it. do you pay per movie or is there a pass?

 

I think the Jaguars are more painful than any career or tattoo related pain you could experience

I have too many tattoos at this point I don’t even care what I get.

 

Actually I have a gnarly ass bruise on my knee from dropping to my knees during some guitar bullshit I was doing multiple times on this tour

I kept complaining to Jared the day after shows that it hurts only to do it again that night in the adrenaline of performing lol.

Another hilarious thing about me is I have a tiny chip in my tooth because I tried to play with my teeth like Jimi (which I’ve done before) but that time I guess I caught the string at an awkward angle lmao

so I guess I do subject myself to pain for music

 

I used to care a LOT but now choice paralysis has me like "I need to just get things and care later" cuz otherwise I will never get anything

 

Despite caring a lot my first tattoo was on my neck cuz at 18 I was very very smart

it’s $35 a movie and you can go on their app and watch the movies any point from the 30th - feb. 2nd. they started doing it during lockdown with their full slate but now unfortunately it skips the big movies for in person only (a real pain was at sundance last year but in person only). the slate this year is better than the last few though

 

is this subjecting yourself to pain or is it just doing dumb stuff lol

next album just about to be a hodgepodge of different genres I had fun experimenting with once and later developed into a song

you can do a pass and see every online movie during the weekend but it’s like $800 lol

I definitely go a little overboard lol but I miss the old days of punk and indie where bands really let loose on stage. I’ll 10 times out of 10 take it over bands that just stand there with their instruments

 

I don't care if bands just stand there BUT I'll get annoyed if bands are just standing there and then they're like GET THE FUCK UP LET ME SEE YOU MOVE while just standing there or whatever

It's gotta be symbiotic

I genuinely think it’s fun / goofy to go nuts on stage and it’s a helpful reminder that we’re doing this for fun first and foremost and it’s not that fuckin serious

I can see how people might think of it as me pretending to be performative but it legitimately is more about having fun being ridiculous than anything else haha. And to a lesser extent, communicating weird timing stuff to my drummer with my body language.

bubble & squeak - himesh patel and sarah goldberg, seems like a movie on a cult, produced by chris storer from the bear

bunnylovr - seems like a movie about a cam girl whose dad is dying. idk much about this one but megan wanted to see. rachel sennott and austin amelio are also in it

twinless - seems to be about two non-related twins whose siblings have died meeting at a support group. dylan o’brien is one of the leads

also cooper raiff (shithouse) has a show with ruffalo that’s 8 eps that is the thing i’m most excited for called hal and harper but we’re passing on it bc 8 episodes in a weekend seems unlikely for us and it seems like it’ll almost certainly get picked up by a streamer
