Do you typically do a consult and plan a whole design and have him draw it for you or do you typically just get something existing same day? I've only ever gotten small black tattoos so I have no idea how larger pieces or complicated pieces work

 

in my experience for my larger ones ive gone in and had a 'consultation' with the person and they worked something up and then i went back a week later, we tweaked it and they stabbed me.

 

most of mine are from Marcus so it’s probably less formal but I typically email him an idea and we’ll go back and forth a bit and then I just show up the day of and it’s usually exactly what I wanted with maybe a few minor tweaks (mainly sizing and making it fit within existing tattoos) he has to make and then we get going. I’m sure I could ask to see it before the day of but I’ve been going there long enough I trust him.

My first band's bassist opened up a tattoo shop but he passed away so he probably can't do it now

I will never be getting a tattoo because I am terrified of needles

I wish I was cool enough to get tattoos but I generally don’t willingly subject myself to painful things

if there was a tattoo I felt I HAD TO GET i would do it but no design or idea really speaks to me on that “I want this on my body FOREVER” level so far

 

I hate giving blood and almost pass out during it but I’m fine with tattoos. I’m just a lil stinker.
