This is reassuring to hear. I just feel like I’ve poured so much of myself into my job over the last eight years that it had become my primary sources of fulfillment. It hasn’t been bringing me much fulfillment, if any at all, lately and I just feel like I need a job where I can do what you said: turn the brain off and work. I need more time in the day for myself to engage with all the other things that bring me fulfillment as opposed to working on and off from 7-6 M-F and being so burnt out after I get home from work that I barely want to do anything

I really have no answer as to why. It’s not like growing up I was “anti fast food.” We frequented McDonald’s often. Just never ordered one and don’t know why
