i will fully own up to being a giants fan that was fucking LIVID at doug for playing nate sudfeld and losing that game to keep the giants out of the playoffs, but the giants could simply have won like, ONE more game than they did.

 

There’s no good answers in such a physical sport, good teams gonna rest their players if they can get away with it and it’s always gonna affect the playoff seeding

but it’s just silly that we even have games like that, that mean nothing and are effortless on one side but still cost like a billion dollars to promote and broadcast and fans have been having $200-$500 tickets for for months

 

(theres actually nothing simple about the giants winning a game)

 

could the chiefs even forfeit the game or is there too much pride in doing that

 

Absolutely no chance you're allowed to forfeit a game just for funsies lol

 

theres too much money involved to do that is the real issue. The owners and the NFL still win as long as the game is attended and watched (which it will be if one of the teams has to win to make the playoffs)

 

It’s just silly though because that’s essentially what happened anyway and everyone is pretending it’s not lol
